HONORING THIS SACRED LIFE

Dr. Denise McMorrow is a depth psychologist, artist, mother, soul-tending guide, ritual facilitator, and end of life doula. She is creator of The Prayer Tent for the Divine Mother, and founder of Mountain to Mountain, which is dedicated to the transformational path of the Divine Mother,  and the honoring of this Sacred Life. Through holistic depth psychotherapy, 1:1 mentorship, and teaching, she creates containers for women reclaiming their own sacredness, sovereignty, and spiritual power at this time.  She is author of Sacred Beings: The Divine Mother prayerbook.  

A lifelong creative, Denise was called into exploring pathways of healing and self-realization from an early age. She pursued advanced formal education in both art and psychology, completing a PhD in Clinical Psychology from Duquesne University in 2015.  Over the past 25 years, she has also apprenticed and studied with many master teachers within the realms of psychology and psychotherapy, art therapy, shamanism, dreamwork and dream incubation work, sacred pilgrimage, and end-of-life doula work.

Denise has held therapeutic space for others for over 20 years of practice, first as an art therapist and facilitator of healing groups for women, and then as a psychotherapist in various clinical settings.  She has co-led healing retreats for veterans nationwide, and leads healing ceremonies for women who have experienced perinatal loss. In 2016, she created Heartwalker Psychotherapy, a private practice that offers a holistic, depth oriented and heart-centered psychotherapy approach to individuals and couples that integrates the psycho-spiritual framework gifted by the analytical tradition.  Besides private psychotherapy and mentoring sessions, Denise offers group workshops related to the Goddess, and creating sanctuary for the indwelling Soul.

These sessions are an alchemical catalyst for witnessing, clarifying, and amplifying the dynamics at play in aligning your life with your unique Soul’s purpose and expression.  We will contemplate your own natal birth chart, archetypal patterning, divination, intuitive guidance, and various creative transformational practices to dive deeply into the powerful alchemy of your Sacred Self and your Sacred Life at this time.

All Rivers Return Perinatal Loss Support (2 hour session + Ritual with the Rivers)

Container for those couples and individuals needing a guided and confidential space to process and honor perinatal loss, at any gestational age, chosen or not chosen.   2 hour session + Ritual with the Rivers. Highmark and UPMC Commercial Insurance accepted or Self Pay Sliding Scale.
