A Yoga Sutras Book Club

Welcome back to year three of Bindu & Body’s Book Club,

2023 will be a year of great retrospection! As we continue to explore the depth of ourselves a deeper book club feels right for this new year. We will be working with The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, translation by Sri Swami Satchidananda.

This will be the same light hearted space to learn, grow and expand with one another.

We meet the last Sunday of every month. Everyone is welcome to join at any time throughout the year. The books are selected to help further us as souls and also to keep us actively learning about this great big universe.

If in person isn’t your thing no problem. We are a big open hearted community and we leave this book club to be something enjoyable in your life. Many of our members read along but choose not to go to any meetings. To sign up please see form below. Any questions please feel free to email Eva at evatrapp@binduandbody.com .

We invite you to grab a warm cup of tea, a cozy blanket and read along with the Bindu and Body community.

Happy Reading,

Eva

About Bindu & Body:

Eva Trapp’s path to yoga has always been intertwined with dance. Yoga and meditation became her refuge. She spent the first three decades of her life as a classical ballerina, training intensively in her early years and developed a 15 year career dancing with Ohio Ballet, Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre and Twyla Tharp Dance. During her final years of performing, she devoted herself to Jivamukti yoga as self-maintenance to stay injury free, to calm the mind, and to warm up before shows. Returning to Pittsburgh, she retired from dance to have her son in 2017.

Eva wanted to give back to others the healing care she had received over the years. She entered the wellness world and became a Licensed Massage Therapist, training with The Pittsburgh School of Massage Therapy. She is a 300-hr Jivamukti Yoga Teacher and a 200 hour-RYT. She studied Marma therapy with Indu Arora and learned Yoga Nidra with the Shiva Shakti School of Yoga. Eva completed her 600hr academic Ayurvedic Health Counselor curriculum at the California College of Ayurveda where she also received her Ayurveda Bodywork training. She is currently training with Intuition University and The Herbal Academy.

Eva created Bindu & Body, a place for community, connection, and care. Her holistic health modalities help with the everyday obstacles of life unique to each individual. Every offering is customized to fit the client’s needs and to find ways to incorporate easy solutions into daily routines.

Sneha began as a collaborative network during Eva’s time teaching yoga. She believes in creating true community and is happy to foster a collective spirit that values showing up for one another. Sneha aims to serve everyone who comes through the doors with loving-kindness.

Om Shantih
