Join Us For Acroyoga!

with Rachel Dobos of Ayurveda By Rachel

Acroyoga is a partner exercise that builds trust and communication. This workshop is designed to help you create a strong foundation in your practice, so that you feel safe to play, explore, and experiment in all that Acroyoga has to offer.

In this workshop, you will learn: the 5 pillars of Acroyoga, how to communicate with your partners while in unfamiliar positions, how to spot appropriately, and how to transition between positions to create a partner yoga flow.

When learning, we always practice with a spotter, which means we'll be working in groups of at least three people.

No partner necessary to join!

This Workshop is being hosted by Sneha Yoga & Wellness Collective at Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, located at 2900 Liberty Avenue Pittsburgh, PA 15201. PBT has their own parking lot, if the lot is full attached to the building there is a lot right across the street available to park in for free.

We are guests of the Ballet’s so we will be following their covid policy. Please see below before signing up.

Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre’s Covid Policy

Masks will be mandatory at Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre and proof of vaccination or negative Covid Test are required. You will be asked to send your documentation to us at Sneha Collective prior to the event. We will not share any medical information. We appreciate your understanding and commitment to the community spirit.

Guests: Any person visiting Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre (PBT) in a social or volunteer capacity or for a clearly defined short-term duration. This includes school parents, caregivers, and families, community division students, invited guests, interview candidates, interns, special event participants, rental or audition participants, and others.

Fully vaccinated: In general, people are considered fully vaccinated two weeks after their second dose in a 2-dose vaccination series, such as the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines, OR two weeks after a single-dose vaccine such as the Johnson & Johnson (Janssen) vaccine. A person who does not meet these requirements is not fully vaccinated.

- PBT occasionally has visitors from other countries who might have a vaccine that is approved for use in another country. PBT should research as required to better understand that unique situation.

- This is subject to change as boosters become available and the CDC definition of “fully vaccinated” changes

Negative COVID-19 Test: When PBT refers to testing for COVID-19 as an alternative to vaccination, a “negative COVID-19 test” is a clinical test with a printed date and time and result that meets one of the following requirements:

1. The test is a PCR test taken no more than 72-hours before the event, show, visit, etc.

2. OR The test is a rapid antigen test taken no more than 24-hours before the event, show, visit, etc.
